New Year. New Blog.

Well, well, well...here we are, celebrating our 5th anniversary, getting ready to have our first New Year's eve party in those 5 years (we've traveled every year till now to celebrate!), enjoying another wonderful holiday season with family and friends, and of course, a 2 week winter break which provides lots of free time to think and reflect. In that time, I've been thinking...what the heck--it's time to jump on the blogwagon! After years of following lots of blogs and enjoying the stories of so many others, I decided it was about time I join in the fun and start our own. For a while, I thought I wasn't funny enough, creative enough or that our life just wasn't really interesting enough to blog about, but the more I've read and seen how it truly is a way to tell the story of our family--a more tech savvy scrapbook if you will--I've seen that I want to do just that--tell our story. I'm sure it won't always be pretty, consistent or have the best pictures (until I get a DSLR!), but, that doesn't really matter--it will just be our lives, our thoughts, our hopes and that is what counts. So...that's that. I'm in.  Welcome!
